"Founded by Chance, Sustained by Courage"

On the Eastern bank of the Mississippi River, the land intended for BOOST's green technology agreement is divided from the residential town of Brooklyn, IL by railroad tracks, which will be used to transport animal and agricultural waste from neighboring farms. To the north of the land intended for development of the OWR-1000 is Ameren, the utility company for Missouri and Illinois.

BROOKLYN, IL is a village in St. Clair County, Illinois, 3 miles northeast of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. BROOKLYN is the oldest town incorporated in the United States by African American fugitive and freed slaves in 1873. When BROOKLYN’s post office was dedicated to abolitionist Elija P. Lovejoy in 1891, the town was abandoned by the nation’s white majority and succumbed to political corruption and common crime, while BROOKLYN’s primary revenue is made through sales tax and licensing fees of adult clubs.

In his last four years in office, Mayor Nathaniel O’Bannon of BROOKLYN, IL, along with Chief of Police Delbert Marion has worked to eradicate corruption from political offices, and make connections with parties that will restore BROOKLYN’s prominence. In 2007, the Historical Society of Brooklyn Illinois was founded in conjunction with the Illinois Transportation Archaeological Research Project, the University of Illinois, and the Illinois State Museum. BROOKLYN, IL will soon receive designation on the National Registry of Historic Places, which will bring new attention to the area.

Having secured BROOKLYN’s place in history, Mayor O’Bannon has expressed his interest in securing BROOKLYN’s place in the future through the implementation of WES Technology’s 100% pollution-free Anaerobic Digestion waste-to-biofuel technology, which will not only provide Green Electricity to the grid, but will also create organic compost and potable water for the neighboring agriculture. BOOST Envirotech will propose parameters for a public-private teaming agreement which will be made amongst three principal players: WES Tech East, Brooklyn IL and Ameren.

Once we break ground, WES’s OWR-1000 will be rolled out across the nation, replacing landfills and reducing our dependence on foreign oil and dirty (“clean”) coal. The Midwest will be the initiation point for this project, and will see instant economic reparation through the creation of hundreds of jobs per plant. The showcase site at BROOKLYN, IL will also be developed with conference centers, parks and eateries, as we intend to entertain many new tourists who will be visiting our area to explore the technology for development in other states of the US and around the world.
